The iPhone 16e, introduced by Apple on February 19, 2025, serves as the entry-level model in the iPhone 16 series.

It features a 6.1-inch OLED display, an aluminum frame, and a matte glass back, closely resembling the design of the iPhone 14. The device is powered by the Apple A18 chip with a 4-core GPU and includes 8 GB of RAM. Storage options are available in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB configurations. Notably, the iPhone 16e introduces the Apple-designed C1 modem, marking a shift from previous reliance on Qualcomm modems.

In terms of photography, the iPhone 16e is equipped with a single 48 MP Fusion camera capable of 2x optical-quality zoom. The front-facing 12 MP TrueDepth camera supports features like Portrait mode and Night Mode. However, it lacks an ultrawide lens and advanced video capabilities such as Cinematic mode.

The device includes an Action Button, replacing the traditional mute switch, and supports Face ID for secure authentication. Connectivity features encompass 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The iPhone 16e is also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.
